We will provide feedback after each lesson and a recommendation to continue to the Intermediate program after completing the two Basic lessons, to the parents. The student’s ability to remain focused is the fundamental requirement so that they can benefit from the program. The coding segment requires the students to have the ability to remain focused as the concepts are verbally elaborated and illustrated. While the robot building segment emphasizes on the fine motor and visual spatial skills of the students, it also requires them to pay attention to details to connect the parts correctly. The program introduces the students to the lesson sequence and our delivery method to achieve the lesson’s objectives. The WeDo Basic robotics program consists of two lessons of 1 hour 30 minutes each in the weekly class, and it is a one session of 3-hour in our school holiday program. In it, they will also learn and apply advanced coding concepts to enable the robots to execute more complex task(s) according to the sensors’ input when they progress along.
